Matthies Haentjens

Matthies Haentjens is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and finance. Currently serving as a Business Development professional at FinancialLease.nl since November 2022, Matthies has previously demonstrated entrepreneurial and leadership skills as the Founder of Homey, an alternative mortgage provider, and as Co-Founder of BEEQUIP MKB Equipment Lease, where responsibilities included business strategy, risk management, and new business development. Matthies also founded Postinitial, an online training company, and held associate roles at Axivate Capital and KPMG Corporate Finance, contributing to venture capital and M&A activities. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor’s in Economics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
