Cain Armstrong

Cain Armstrong is currently employed at the Financial Markets Authority in New Zealand as part of the Economics & Market Research team since November 2024. Previously, Cain held roles as a Retail Banker at the Bank of New Zealand from June 2022 to December 2024, and as a Management Consultant at KPMG New Zealand from November 2022 to February 2023. Cain also gained experience as a Citizen Interviewer at Citizens Advice Bureau NZ from March 2021 to January 2023, and worked in Economic Capability at The Treasury - New Zealand from November 2021 to February 2022. Additional positions include Commercial Economics at the Department of Conservation from November 2020 to February 2021 and Data Analyst at Stats NZ from November 2019 to February 2020. Cain holds a dual Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Commerce degree, focusing on Law, Economics, and Finance, from Victoria University of Wellington, completed in January 2023.
