Mohamed Abdelaziz has extensive experience in various leadership and advisory roles within Egypt's financial and governmental sectors. Currently serving as the Assistant to the Chairman at the Financial Regulatory Authority since September 2022, Mohamed previously held significant positions including Secretary General and Board of Trustees Member at the EGX Foundation for Sustainable Development, Advisor at the Egyptian Exchange, and Board Member at both Misr Insurance Takaful and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI). Notably, Mohamed was also the Assistant to the Minister of International Cooperation and Technical Office Manager to the Minister at the Ministry of Investment. Academically, Mohamed holds a PhD in Political Science from Cairo University, along with a Master’s degree in African Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science.
