Antonio Tiberio

Antonio Tiberio has extensive experience in the field of economics, statistics, and research, currently serving as the Head of the Statistical Registers Division at Banca d'Italia since 1989, where previous roles included Deputy Head and Section Head. Tiberio is also involved with the International Organization for Standardization as Head of the Italian Delegation for TC68/SC8 since 2016, and has been a member of the Executive Committee of the LEI Regulatory Oversight Committee at the Financial Stability Board since January 2013, contributing to initiatives regarding the implementation of the Legal Entity Identifier. Additionally, Tiberio represents Banca d'Italia at the Association of National Numbering Agencies from 2016 to 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a System Engineer at Procter & Gamble and serving as a Reserve Officer in the Italian Army. Tiberio holds a BSc and MSc in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from Sapienza Università di Roma.
