Financial Study Association Groningen (FSG)
Sybren Andringa currently serves as Treasurer and External Relations for the International Financial Program Board at FSG International Financial Program, a role commenced in April 2024. In addition, Sybren holds the position of External Relations and Treasurer for the FSG International Finance Tour since October 2023. Professional experience includes working as a sales representative at Broccoli Agency from July 2022 to May 2024 and contributing to NNEK Vermogensopbouw as an oproepkracht and reversed mentoring employee since September 2019. Sybren's educational background features a forthcoming Master's degree in Finance with a focus on investment and risk management from the University of Groningen (September 2024 - July 2025), a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in technology management (2020 - 2024), a minor in Finance (September 2022 - February 2023), and a high school diploma in Economy & Society from Hervormd Lyceum Zuid (September 2016 - April 2020).
Financial Study Association Groningen (FSG)
FSG is the study association for the financial student at the University of Groningen. FSG has set itself the goal to close the gap that exists between theory and practice in the areas of Finance, Accountancy & Controlling, Management Accounting & Control and International Financial Management. Study Association FSG was established from the merger between Risk and PM. The association has since grown to one of the most professional study associations of The Netherlands. There are around 100 active members, who organise a range of different activities. This gives students the chance develop themselves alongside their studies. FSG aims to organise high quality activities for all its members. Besides this, FSG organises activities to further the contact between members, the faculty and companies.
