Cathy Duval

Cathy Duval, CFA, has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Wealth Advisor at Financière Banque Nationale since January 2005, Cathy specializes in building diversified portfolios based on conservative investment management principles to protect and grow client investments. Previously, Cathy's roles included Senior Compliance Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed implementing supervision systems for institutional derivatives and providing regulatory guidance to investment advisors, and Senior Investigator/Inspector at the Montreal Exchange, focusing on the practices of institutional derivatives traders. Early experience included positions as an Investment Representative at National Bank of Canada and Customer Service Representative at Royal Bank of Canada. Cathy holds a Post-graduate Chartered Financial Analyst designation from CFA Institute, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from UQAM, and a Diploma in Management from the Canadian Banker's Institute.
