Jason Kim

Jason Kim is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as Managing Director at National Bank Financial since January 2017. In this role, Jason is responsible for originating and executing M&A transactions and presenting strategic ideas to clients. Previously, as VP of Corporate Development & Financial Strategy at Shred-it, Jason collaborated with senior leadership on corporate strategy, including an IPO filing and a successful sale to Stericycle. Jason also held the position of Executive Director at CIBC World Markets, where significant expertise in strategic advisory and corporate finance was developed across various sectors. Early in the career journey, Jason worked as a Summer Associate at OMERS. Jason holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) from the University of Toronto.
