Jukka Laitinen is a legal professional with extensive experience in the financial regulatory sector. Currently serving as Chief Legal Adviser at Finanssivalvonta, the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority, since January 2009, Laitinen has also held roles as Senior Policy Advisor and Senior Legal Adviser within the same organization. Prior to this, Laitinen worked at Rahoitustarkastus from October 1993 to December 2008 as a Legal Adviser, and gained experience as a Trainee Judge at the Helsinki District Court from February 1994 to February 1995. Laitinen's career in legal advisory began in Banking Supervision in 1993. Laitinen holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Helsinki, completed in 1990, and a student degree from Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu, obtained in 1982.
