Maja Alicia Petersen

Maja Alicia Petersen currently serves as a Specialkonsulent in fintech at Finanstilsynet, a position held since November 2017, focusing on legal aspects of fintech and payment services. Previously, Maja worked as a National Expert in Professional Training at the European Commission's DG FISMA, where responsibilities included the European Single Access Point for financial and ESG data. Additional experience includes a stagiaire role at Danmarks Faste Repræsentation ved Den Europæiske Union, involvement in financial services regulation, and various positions in legal and financial institutions, including Erhvervsstyrelsen and Danske Bank. Maja holds a Master's degree in Law and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen, completed from 2012 to 2018.
