Giedrius Smolskas

Giedrius Smolskas has a variety of experience in the technology and finance industries. Giedrius started their career as a Technician-programmer at Kaunas University of Technology in 2009, before moving on to work as a Programmer at ATEA Lietuva from 2010 to 2014. Their next role was as an Analyst-programmer at Bite Lietuva in 2014. Giedrius then joined Intermedix as a Scrum Master and Software Engineer in 2014, where they stayed until 2017. At that point, they transitioned to Fintem, where they worked as an IT Product Manager from 2017 to 2018. Giedrius then joined FinBee.com as a Product Owner in 2018, before being promoted to the role of CTO in November 2019. Their work at FinBee involved overseeing a peer-to-peer lending platform and ensuring that borrowers and investors had a positive experience. Throughout their career, Giedrius has demonstrated expertise in product management, software development, and business consulting.

Giedrius Smolskas received their education at the Kaunas University of Technology. From 2005 to 2010, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering with a field of study in IT engineering. Following this, from 2010 to 2014, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Systems Engineering, specializing in Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, Giedrius has also obtained several certifications. In March 2016, they became a Certified ScrumMaster® through the Scrum Alliance. Later, in June 2016, they obtained the Certified SAFe® Agilist and Certified SAFe® Practitioner certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc.
