Hugo Gomes

Hugo Gomes is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience leading teams and managing software development projects. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Finbits since April 2023, Hugo oversees three teams of nine developers and collaborates with Product Managers to prioritize technical debt and requirements. Prior to this role, Hugo co-owned Empório Urupês and held multiple positions at PagBank PagSeguro, Locaweb, and Sector, focusing on team mentorship, agile practices, and project management. Hugo holds an MBA in Project Management from FGV and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, complemented by technical training in Software Development.
