Christina Evans

Christina Evans has over 20 years of work experience in the financial services industry. Christina began their career in 2000 as a Senior Co-op at Raytheon Aircraft Integration, where they performed system, engineering workstation and server maintenance, and ensured design and drawing integrity on government projects for mass storage and program compliance. In 2002, they joined Woodforest National Bank as a Branch Manager, where they were responsible for operations management and the implementation of processes at a new facility. From 2005 to 2018, they served as Senior Vice President, Compliance Risk Group Manager at BBVA Compass, where they were responsible for the assessment, design and implementation of a risk-based Compliance risk management program. Since 2018, they have been the Chief Risk and Operations Officer (CRO) at Members Choice Credit Union (Houston, TX). Most recently, they joined FINBOA in 2022 as Director of Compliance Products and Solutions Consultant, where they focus on product strategies, vision and requirements to further mature or deliver new offerings, and works to ensure product satisfaction for strategic customers, manage escalations, ensure retention and speed to market of products for new and existing clients.

Christina Evans obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University-Commerce. In October 2013, they earned the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification from The Institute of Certified Bankers.
