Juan Miguel Perez

Juan Miguel Perez is the CEO and Co-Founder of Finboot. Juan was previously a PHD Student at ICFO, where they worked on the design and development of optical biosensors using image sensor technologies (CCD, CMOS, sCMOS) for their use in industrial, environmental and point-of-care applications. Prior to that, they were a Research Intern at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they worked on designing and testing next generation passive optical networks based on Optical OFDM technology; by comparing and analyzing different possibilities of optical modulation, detection and digital signal processing.

Juan Miguel Perez has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Photonics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and an Engineer's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
