Amer Sheikh

Amer Sheikh Ph.D. serves as the Investment Director for HSBC Ventures and holds board observer roles with Solidatus, SupplyShift, and Papercup, as well as investor positions in Quantexa and Monese, all since January 2023. Previously, Amer Sheikh was the Head of Startup Investments & Partnerships at Sky and served as a board observer for InCrowd and SDVI Corporation from October 2021 to January 2023. Amer Sheikh also acted as a board observer for Mixergy Ltd from January 2021 to October 2021. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics, both obtained from Loughborough University.
