Shanawar Ahmed

Shanawar Ahmed has a solid background in project management and financial consulting. Shanawar most recently worked as a Project Manager at FINBOURNE Technology starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they spent three years at Refinitiv as a Senior Consultant and Product Specialist from June 2019 to May 2022. Before that, Shanawar worked at SGGG AlphaDesk, initially as a Consultant from May 2016 to November 2017, and later as a Senior Consultant from November 2017 to June 2019. Shanawar gained experience in wealth operations and equity analysis during their time at TD from February 2014 to May 2016. Shanawar's career began as a Payment Specialist at Sun Life Financial from January 2012 to September 2013.

Shanawar Ahmed completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Economics and Finance at the University of Waterloo from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications. In July 2014, they successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course through the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). Shanawar further enhanced their knowledge and expertise by passing the CFA Level 1 Exam administered by the CFA Institute in December 2015. Additionally, they completed the Partners, Directors, and Senior Officers Course (PDO) offered by the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in November 2015.
