Gevorg Ter-Hovhannisyan

Gevorg Ter-Hovhannisyan has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Gevorg started their career at Converse Bank CJSC as a Senior Dealer from February 2001 to May 2006. Gevorg then joined Byblos Bank Armenia CJSC as the Head of Regional Development and Analysis Department in 2006, and later moved to ProCredit Bank as the Head of Treasury Department from December 2007 to December 2012. Gevorg joined FINCA International in December 2012 and held various roles including Treasurer, Acting CFO/Member of Management Board, and Chief Financial Officer/Member of Management Board until September 2016. Gevorg then became the Director of Treasury Services at FINCA International from October 2016 to December 2016. In January 2017, they transitioned to FINCA Impact Finance as the Director of Treasury Services. Gevorg also served as the Chair of Audit and Risk Committee and Director of Supervisory Board at FINCA Jordan from June 2017 to May 2021. Currently, Gevorg is the Director of Global Treasury and Investments at FINCA Impact Finance, a role they started in October 2022. Additionally, they will be joining FINCA Armenia in February 2023 as the Director of Supervisory Board.

Gevorg Ter-Hovhannisyan has a strong academic background in economics. Gevorg completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Yerevan State University between 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, they earned their Master's degree in Economics from the same university from 2001 to 2003. Gevorg's educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, which they obtained from Yerevan State University between 1997 and 2001. Before starting their higher education, Gevorg attended 132 after V. Brusov High School from 1987 to 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Gevorg Ter-Hovhannisyan has also pursued further professional development. Gevorg holds the certification of a 2020 Level III CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Candidate from the CFA Institute.
