Stefan Grundmann

Stefan Grundmann is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operational leadership and social enterprise. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at FINCA International since April 2020, Stefan oversees the performance and operations of all departments and subsidiaries. Previously, as CEO of BrightLife, a FINCA social enterprise, Stefan facilitated access to finance and energy for economically underprivileged communities. In earlier roles, Stefan provided strategic support to the President of FINCA International, contributed to financial inclusion initiatives at Omidyar Network, and executed market research for health services in Indonesia as a Summer Associate at BIMA Mobile. Stefan also designed a blended finance vehicle for the World Cocoa Foundation and managed PSI's programs in Asia and Eastern Europe. As co-founder and CEO of The Compost Crew, Stefan pioneered sustainable waste management practices. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree from Georgetown University and an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
