Andres Girardot Martinez, CQF, has a strong background in quantitative finance and trading. Andres started their career as a Junior Prop Trader (Internship) at Wall Street Trading, LLC. in 2013. Andres then joined StoneX Group Inc. in 2014 as a Risk Management Associate - Execution Trader, where they worked until 2017.

In 2019, Andres joined NatWest Markets as a Rates and Inflation Options Trading Analyst and remained with the company until 2020. Following that, they joined Voya Investment Management in 2021 as a Quantitative Research - FIC.

Most recently, Andres has been appointed as a Senior Quant Analyst/ Developer at FINCAD, starting in April 2022. Overall, Andres has gained valuable experience in risk management, trading, and quantitative research throughout their career.

Andres Girardot Martinez, CQF, has a diverse educational background primarily focused on quantitative finance and computer science. Andres obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science with a specialization in the Machine Learning Track at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2022 to 2025. Prior to this, they pursued a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) at the CQF Institute in 2019.

In 2017 and 2018, Andres enrolled at The University of Manchester, where they completed an MSc degree in Quantitative Finance with a concentration in Financial Engineering. Earlier on, they attended Florida International University from 2009 to 2014, earning a Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance and Economics.

Before their higher education endeavors, Andres completed their primary and secondary education at The English School in Bogota, Colombia, from 1996 to 2009.

In addition to their formal degrees, Andres has enhanced their skills through an edX Verified Certificate for SP21: Computing for Data Analysis, obtained from the Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2021.
