Kasen Sun, CFA, FRM

Kasen Sun, CFA, FRM has a diverse work experience in the field of financial engineering and investment analysis. Starting in 2013, Sun worked as an Equity Analyst at the Student Investment Advisory Service, focusing on equity analysis. In 2014, Sun joined Sattva Capital as a Project Coordinator for a year. Sun then transitioned to FINCAD in 2015, initially working as an Associate Financial Engineer for two years before being promoted to Financial Engineer for another two years. Sun further advanced to the position of Associate Lead, Financial Engineering for two years, followed by being promoted to Lead, Financial Engineering in 2021. Sun's most recent role is Manager, Financial Engineering at FINCAD, starting in April 2022. Throughout their career, Sun has demonstrated expertise in financial engineering, investment analysis, and project coordination.

Kasen Sun, CFA, FRM, holds a Master's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Simon Fraser University, which was obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, Kasen completed a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from The University of British Columbia from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their educational background, Kasen has obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in November 2019 and the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program in July 2017.
