Nicola Bongiorni -

Nicola Bongiorni holds an MBA and has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the maritime and engineering sectors. Currently serving as VP of Naval Services at FINCANTIERI since February 2024, Nicola previously led the Cruise HUB Europe division at PALFINGER MARINE, where responsibilities included business development and enhancing customer satisfaction in the Cruise and Ferry market segment. As Managing Director at Palfinger Marine Italy, Nicola was instrumental in the turnaround of the Italian office and the establishment of the EU Single Business Entity. Earlier roles include Managing Director at Harding Safety AS, overseeing equipment sales and service management, and head of Sales & Marketing for Steam Turbines at FINCANTIERI, where strategic product positioning was a focus. Nicola's career began as a Project Manager at Lames S.p.A. and included a Sales Engineer role at Comau. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from SDA Bocconi and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova.
