Matthew Browne

Matthew Browne is a seasoned professional in enforcement and compliance within the financial sector, currently serving as the Deputy Associate Director at the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, US Treasury since January 2022. Previously, Matthew held the position of Supervisory Enforcement Officer in the same division. Prior to this role, Matthew worked at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from September 2015 to January 2022 as an Associate and gained valuable experience as an intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the summer of 2013. Matthew's career in finance began at Goldman Sachs, where roles included Vice President, Associate, and Analyst from July 2006 to August 2012. Matthew holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
