Lisa Dozier Fales

Lisa Dozier Fales has over 20 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. Lisa has held various leadership roles in multiple companies, including Finch Computing, LexisNexis, and Elsevier. In their most recent role as Director Of Quality Assurance at Finch Computing, they were responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance and testing of Finch Computing products, as well as building a team to create an automated test framework. Prior to that, at LexisNexis, they served as the Director of Software Quality, overseeing the development and evolution of product testing and quality assurance processes. At Elsevier, they held the position of Manager Software Quality for over a decade, leading a large team and maintaining a large-scale test portfolio. Lisa started their career at LexisNexis as a Sr. Design Analyst and later served as a New Technology Coordinator. Overall, Lisa has a strong background in managing quality assurance and leading testing efforts in both waterfall and agile methodologies, with experience in automated test frameworks, RESTful and SOAP-based web services, and customer-facing web applications.

Lisa Dozier Fales obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business analysis and statistics from the University of Phoenix in 2010. Lisa previously earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Science from Wright State University, which they completed between 1982 and 1987. Lisa also obtained several additional certifications, including "Getting and Cleaning Data," "R Programming," "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera Verified Certificates, and a Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, all in 2014.
