Steve Scibetta

Steve Scibetta, General Counsel & Vice President of Operations, manages all of Finch Computing’s legal, sales and finance initiatives. He specializes in corporate and privacy law as well as big data, taxation and securities. During his career, he has helped to complete two corporate asset sales of major federal contracts packages and has organized the private equity offering and recapitalization of a closely held LLC. Prior to joining Finch Computing, Steve was a project assistant at Wilmer Hale, LLP and then an EDGAR Coordinator at K&L Gates. There, he sat at the intersection of big data and law, managing research into the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) system, which contains millions of records, processes about 3,000 filings per day, and serves up 3,000 terabytes of data to the public annually. Steve studied politics and religion at Princeton University before graduating from the Delaware School of Law.
