Michael Hammond

Michael Hammond has a extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Michael started their career as a Communications/Information Center Specialist at NAMIC in 1986, where they were responsible for the implementation and support of MAXCIM MRP system Accounts Payables and Purchasing Modules. Michael then moved on to become an MIS Manager at NAMIC, serving as a technical liaison for all functional areas and advising senior managers on technical issues.

In 1998, Hammond became the Director of Information Technology at Boston Scientific Glens Falls, where they directed all IT resource planning, budgeting, and operational initiatives for the Glens Falls, NY location. Michael also worked in conjunction with Corporate IT leaders on various IT development and expansion projects.

Hammond joined Navilyst Medical in 2008 as the Director of Information Technology. In this role, they were responsible for IT resource planning, budgeting, and operational initiatives. Michael also served as a member of the Executive IT Steering committee and held authority over various IT areas such as voice and data communications, system integration, data center operations, and data security.

In 2014, Hammond became the Manager of IT Security & Risk Compliance at AngioDynamics. Michael was in charge of assessing and mitigating regulatory and security risks related to the company's IT systems. Michael also developed and implemented standardized IT policies and procedures after a company acquisition.

Most recently, Hammond worked at Finch Paper as the Director of Information Technology since 2016. In this role, they provided oversight and leadership to the IT infrastructure and delivery, including data center, systems, databases, voice/data network, and server environments. Michael also reviewed system performance, prepared annual budgets and forecasts, and guided the implementation of new IT systems and infrastructure.

Throughout their career, Hammond has demonstrated a strong expertise in IT management and a commitment to ensuring the integrity and security of IT systems.

Michael Hammond attended the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1982, they studied at the State University of New York - System and obtained a Certificate in Machine Trades.
