Szymon Walasik

Szymon Walasik has extensive work experience in the field of design. Szymon started their career in 2013 as a Freelance Graphic Designer for "I Ty Możesz Być Wielki - ITMBW Kraków". In 2015, they worked as an Intern at ATMAT for a brief period. In 2016, they worked as an Industrial Designer at HALCON Sp. z o. o for a few months before moving to CadXpert - Druk 3D where they served as a CAD Designer until early 2017. Later in 2017, they joined Husarska Design Studio as a Product Designer and held this position until 2020. During their time at Husarska Design Studio, they also worked as a Product Designer for Green Cell from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are working as an Industrial Designer at Findair since 2023.

Szymon Walasik has a diverse education history. Szymon started their academic journey in 2013, attending Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Design Engineering. Szymon successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2017.

After a gap of two years, in 2019, Szymon returned to Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki for further specialization, this time in the field of MechaniKa i Budowa Maszyn. Szymon pursued a Master's degree and completed it in 2020.

In 2021, they enrolled at Warsaw University of Technology Business School to enhance their knowledge in Total Design Management. Although the specific degree name is not provided, it can be inferred that they are pursuing a non-degree program or a certificate course.

Alongside their formal education, Szymon also obtained various certifications to expand their skillset. Szymon completed the AgilePM® Foundation course from INPROGRESS Ltd. in April 2020. In April 2019, they earned the Certified Additive Manufacturing Associate certification from Dassault Systèmes. Szymon also acquired the Creative Skills for Innovation certification from Google in December 2018. Prior to that, they gained expertise in Designing Components Made of Plastics from EMT-Systems sp. z o.o. Centrum Szkoleń Inżynierskich in November 2018. Additionally, they obtained certifications in User Experience Design from Szkoła Grafiki Komputerowej in May 2018 and in 3DS MAX level 1 from Autodesk in August 2016.
