Chris Ellis

Chris Ellis is an accomplished advisor and executive with extensive experience in strategic roles across various companies. Currently an advisor at Thriday and x15ventures, Chris also serves as CEO of Finder, where significant revenue and profit growth were achieved. As a member of the Tech Council of Australia, Chris contributes to shaping the country’s digital future. Previously, as VP for Paramount ANZ, Chris drove growth in streaming and content distribution. Chris co-founded and led GorillaStack, securing partnerships with major clients before its acquisition by SoftwareONE. Other notable roles include Chief Digital Officer at Reach plc, SVP at IGN Entertainment, and senior leadership positions at Myspace and AOL, where remarkable transformations and revenue growth were accomplished. Chris holds several degrees, including a postgraduate diploma in Marketing from Henley Business School and a BA (Honours) in Business Studies from the University of Hertfordshire.
