Shirley Liu has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Shirley started their career as an Editor at I Heart Uni Pty Ltd from January 2011 to May 2012. Following that, they worked as a Shift Supervisor at McDonald's Corporation from January 2010 to September 2012. In 2012, they joined Finder as a Banking and Investments Publisher, where they created a content strategy, improved organic traffic and revenue, and ensured data accuracy. Shirley served in this role until March 2017 and then transitioned to become a Publishing and Editorial Program Manager at Finder. In this role, they built scalable programs and coordinated across company verticals. From March 2018 to May 2023, Shirley served as the Lead Program Manager in the BizOps team, driving high-impact projects and building a world-class team of program managers. Subsequently, they became the Head of Program Management / BizOps Manager, leading the Program Management team and working on strategic priorities. Shirley currently holds the position of Chief of Staff at Finder, where they focus on driving operational excellence, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

Shirley Liu completed their education from 2005 to 2009 at Manly Selective Campus, Northern Beaches Secondary College, where they earned their HSC. Shirley'sfield of study during this time included Advanced English, Mathematics Extension 1, Mathematics Advanced, and Ancient History.

From 2011 to 2013, Shirley pursued a Bachelor's degree in Media at UNSW, concentrating on Journalism and Communications.

Following their Bachelor's degree, Shirley continued their studies at UNSW from 2014 to 2017, obtaining a Master's degree in Commerce with a focus on Finance.
