Brigid Shea currently serves as the Director of Public Policy & Partnerships at FinDev Canada, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Brigid was the Senior Program Officer at Colleges and Institutes Canada from November 2016 to September 2023, where management of a $16 million international cooperation project aimed at enhancing socio-economic opportunities for young people in the Pacific Alliance region was a key responsibility. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Strategic Communications at The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation and as Head of Public Affairs at Working Links in the UK, where Brigid advanced rapidly within the marketing and communications department. Early career experience includes roles in public affairs and research coordination, along with a significant internship in international development with the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Comparative Politics from The London School of Economics and a BA in Political Science and Hispanic Studies from McGill University.
