Kelsey Allen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kelsey began their career as a Health Assistant at Loyola University, where they triaged patients and organized health education programs. Kelsey then worked as a Lab Assistant at LSU Health Sciences Center, conducting a senior honors thesis on environmental samples. Kelsey further expanded their research skills as a Post-Baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where they designed and conducted experiments related to cellular functions.

In 2010, Kelsey joined UAB as a Research Assistant, contributing to various research projects. Kelsey then transitioned to Epic in 2011, where they worked as an Implementation Services Team Lead and Application Manager. In this role, they implemented electronic healthcare software applications and managed a team of three, focusing on streamlining workflows and enhancing patient safety.

From 2019 onwards, Kelsey served as a Senior Customer Success Manager and Associate Principal at findhelp/Aunt Bertha. In this capacity, they implemented national/multi-region rollout projects for healthcare/payer/housing entities, aligned customer goals with executive leadership and clinical stakeholders, and designed workflows for navigators and communities to connect clients/members to community resources. Kelsey also partnered with customers to ensure the integration of the findhelp referral platform into their broader social determinants of health and community health equity goals.

Kelsey Allen's education history includes a Master's in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which was obtained from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Psychology/Pre-Med from Loyola University New Orleans, from 2003 to 2007. Kelsey also obtained their high school diploma from Pope John Paul II Catholic School from 1999 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Kelsey has obtained various certifications. These include certifications in Long Term Care, Epiccare Inpatient Clinical Documentation, Hospice Billing, Home Health Billing, Single Billing Office Administrator, Home Health, Hospice, Infection Control, Epiccare Ambulatory, Willow Ambulatory, Willow Inventory, Beacon Oncology Information Systems, Interface Administrator, and Willow Inpatient. These certifications were obtained at various times from 2011 to 2019, with the most recent certification obtained in February 2019.
