Neil Barnwell

Neil Barnwell is an experienced professional in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Commercial Director at Lianhetech Europe Limited since September 2019. With a solid background in development and project management, Neil has held the position of Development Group Leader at Fine Organics Limited since October 2011, overseeing multi-tonne pharmaceutical and agrochemical projects while managing a team of development chemists. Prior to this, Neil worked at AstraZeneca in various roles including Associate Principal Scientist and Principal Chemist, where responsibilities included managing project teams and drug projects, as well as outsourcing management. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at Tocris Bioscience and research at the University of Bristol, culminating in a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from The University of Manchester.
