Angela Heenan

Angela Heenan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Angela most recently worked at FINEOS as a Lead Software Engineer from February 2023 onwards. Prior to this, Angela was the Engineering Manager at Poppulo from February 2021 to February 2023, where they also held the position of Senior Software Developer from September 2019 to February 2021.

Before their time at Poppulo, Angela worked at Laya Healthcare as an Agile Coach and Project Manager from May 2018 to May 2019. Angela also served as the Software Development Team Manager at Pilz Ireland from August 2017 to April 2018.

Angela's previous roles include Project Manager at CoreHR from June 2016 to August 2017, Technical Delivery Manager and Scrum Master at Betfair from March 2015 to February 2016, and Development Manager and Scrum Master at Brightpearl from May 2012 to March 2015. Angela began their career as a Java Software Developer at Fineos in July 2005 and held several roles within the company, including Java Technical Consultant from August 2007 to November 2008, and later returned as a Java Software Developer from November 2008 to March 2010.

Angela's earliest work experience was as a Java Software Developer during an internship at IBM from June 2004 to September 2004. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a strong background in software development, project management, and agile methodologies.

Angela Heenan obtained a BSC degree in Computer Systems from the University of Limerick, where they studied Computer Science. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications as a Certified SAFe® 6 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc., obtained in July 2023, and as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, obtained in June 2015.
