Fern Groetaers

Fern Groetaers has a diverse work experience in graphic design and research. They have worked as a Senior UX Product Designer at FINEOS since 2016. Prior to that, Fern worked as a Graphic Designer at FUDGE Creative in Dublin in 2015. They also worked as a Graphic Designer at Danowski Design from 2011 to 2012, as a Research Assistant at IMPA - Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada from 2010 to 2011, and as a Graphic Design Intern at Tecnopop in 2008. Fern began their career as a Graphic Design Intern at Ouro sobre Azul Design and PVDI Design in 2007.

Fern Groetaers has a diverse education history. In 2004, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Visual Communications and Product Design from UERJ. They then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Design Practice from Technological University Dublin (former DIT) in 2013-2014. In 2008-2009, Fern attended Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd, where they studied Typography, Corporate Design, and Digital Media. Most recently, in 2019-2020, Fern completed a UX Diploma in User Experience Design from the UX Design Institute. Additionally, in May 2021, Fern obtained a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation.
