Samantha Lim has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Samantha began their career at Russell Investments in 2004 as a Group Life Specialist, where they worked until 2007.

In 2007, Samantha joined CommInsure as a Case Manager, responsible for managing wholesale life, terminal illness, total and permanent disablement, and income protection claims. Samantha later became a Senior Case Manager, overseeing a portfolio of claims and achieving recognition for their work, including winning the Managing Director quarterly award in 2009 and being nominated for the CEO Awards in 2010.

Samantha then transitioned to a role as a Subject Matter Expert at CommInsure, where they collaborated with business consultants from the vendor FINEOS on a claims transformation project. Samantha played a key role in identifying business requirements, defining solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of a new claims management system.

In 2014, Samantha took on the position of System and Process Governance Manager at CommInsure. In this role, they focused on identifying opportunities to improve claims processes and system functionality, resulting in notable achievements such as reducing process time, implementing continuous improvement ideas, and improving data integrity.

In 2017, Samantha joined Commonwealth Bank as a Productivity Manager, responsible for delivering productivity results through various methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma and project management. Samantha implemented workflow systems and designed future state end-to-end process maps to enhance productivity.

Most recently, Samantha has been working at FINEOS since 2018. Samantha started as a Senior Business Consultant, closely collaborating with clients to enhance claims management processes and promote industry best practices. Samantha successfully led a claims transformation project and implemented a content release process to improve delivery approaches.

Samantha Lim completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Macquarie University, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. Samantha then pursued further education and obtained a Diploma of Financial Services - Life Insurance from ANZIIF, which they completed in 2010. In 2017, Samantha attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd and obtained a Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt certification.
