Mario Lavina

Mario Lavina is a Machine Learning Engineer currently at FINESSE since January 2023. Previously, Mario was a member of the motion planning and perception teams at Imperial Driverless from October 2021 to February 2023, focusing on path generation algorithms and object detection. A brief internship as a Data Analyst Intern at UFINET occurred in September 2021, where Mario worked on international fibre optic cable management. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Now-Casting Economics Ltd from March 2019 to March 2020, producing weekly reports and assisting with data analysis for research projects. Mario holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
