Daragh Sheedy Ceng Miei

Daragh Sheedy CEng MIEI is a Building Control Engineer and Bonds Contract Manager at Fingal County Council since April 2017, responsible for managing bonds for legacy developments to facilitate their management by operations teams. Previously, Daragh served as a Water Service Planning Engineer, handling planning applications related to surface water management and flood risk while collaborating on strategic assessments for land management. Prior experience includes the role of Area Engineer in Drainage Operations at Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and a Structural/Civil Design Engineer at Mtw Partnership, where engagement with local authorities was key. Daragh holds a BEng in Structural Engineering from Technological University Dublin and several certifications and diplomas in Local Government Studies and Civil Engineering, with further education planned at South East Technological University for a Certificate in Building Control.
