Matthew O'Brien is an experienced Systems Administrator currently serving Finger Lakes Community Health since September 2016, where significant contributions include migrating applications to Amazon Web Services. Matthew began at Finger Lakes Community Health as an Information Technology Technician, gaining foundational skills in managing an enterprise network. In addition, Matthew is the owner of Synergonix, a business focused on supporting small enterprises in the Finger Lakes and Greater Rochester areas. Previous roles include Store Manager at The Wireless Center and GoWireless, where exceptional performance led to a promotion from Sales Associate. Matthew has also held various roles in labor and customer service, including general laborer, dishwasher, game advisor, and sales associate. Educational pursuits include studying Electrical Engineering Technology at Onondaga Community College and Finger Lakes Community College, following an Advanced Regents Diploma from Waterloo High School.

Six of our health centers, Geneva Community Health, Penn Yan, Ovid, Port Byron, Newark, and Sodus Community Health, have been nationally recognized as Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Homes. We also administer a federal migrant voucher program, one of 22 in the country, to provide health services to farm workers in 42 upstate NY counties.
