Ilya Penyaev

Ilya Penyaev has extensive work experience in the software development field. Ilya started their career as a software developer at Wikimapia in 2009 and worked there until 2010. Ilya then moved on to MD Информационные системы, where they worked as a software developer from 2010 to 2012. After that, they joined Mail.Ru Group as a software developer from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they joined VK.com and worked as a software developer until 2018, after which they became the Development Team Lead until 2020. In 2020, they joined Fingerprint as the Core API Team Lead and later became the Director of Platform Engineering in 2022.

Ilya Penyaev earned an Engineer's degree in Cryogenic machinery & conditioning from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, where they studied from 2007 to 2013.
