Mikko Järvenpää

Mikko Järvenpää has extensive experience in business development, strategy implementation, and project management. Mikko started their career at Kalmar Industries as a Project Purchasing Trainee before moving on to Salmat as a Team Lead. Mikko then joined Konecranes, where they worked as a Business Process Modelling Specialist and later as a Project Manager. After that, they worked at Accenture as a Manager in the Technology Strategy practice, where they focused on business, IT, and digital strategy planning and implementation. In 2016, Järvenpää joined Teosto as the Head of Operational Excellence & Royalty Flow, overseeing a cross-functional business development program. Mikko also led Teosto's royalty distribution team and achieved significant improvements in efficiency and visibility. Currently, Järvenpää is the Head of Business Development at Fingrid Oyj, where they are responsible for business strategy, data governance, analytics, and process development.

Mikko Järvenpää began their education in 2004 at Tampere University of Technology, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering & Management. Mikko completed their studies in 2009 and obtained a M.Sc. (Tech.) degree. In 2007, Mikko participated in a student exchange program at Universiti Sains Malaysia, which lasted for one year. After their time abroad, they returned to their studies at Tampere University of Technology. From 2010 to 2015, Mikko earned several certifications, although the specific field of study or degree name was not provided.
