Dmitri Shtilman

Dmitri Shtilman is a highly experienced engineer specializing in compiler technologies and backend development. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Finicast, Inc. since 2022, Dmitri previously held the position of Senior Backend Engineer at HEAVY.AI, where contributions included developing GPU-accelerated databases and visual analytics solutions. Prior experience includes roles as a Compiler Engineer at Apple, focusing on the GPU backend for Apple devices, and as a Senior Staff Compiler Engineer at Sony Computer Entertainment America, where leadership in graphics technology R&D occurred. Dmitri's earlier positions include compiling expertise at Sun Microsystems, Wind River, Motorola Semiconductor, and IBM Haifa Research Lab.
