Cody Maughan

Cody Maughan is a Co-Founder and CTO at Bunked, an AI and blockchain company focused on combating misinformation derived from Generative AI, since May 2023. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Finicity, a Mastercard Company, since May 2022, Cody previously held the position of Data Scientist at HireVue from July 2019 to May 2022, where Cody led natural language processing and deep learning efforts in interview assessments. Prior experience includes a Data Scientist role at Progressive Leasing, where Cody contributed to profit forecasting using deep learning models, and a Graduate Student Researcher position at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute at the University of Utah, working with cancer genomic data. Cody holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Utah State University.
