Sunny Nevarekar

Sunny Nevarekar is a Senior Data Scientist at Finicity, a Mastercard Company, since February 2021, focusing on the development of applications and services that leverage advanced machine learning for Mastercard's open banking platform, including a GenAI auto-labelling framework for transaction categorization and entity extraction. Prior to this role, Sunny spent nearly a decade at Tata Consultancy Services as a Machine Learning Engineer, where responsibilities included designing and developing a data extraction suite for information extraction from financial documents and creating applications for handwritten data extraction from document images. Sunny holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, completed in 2010.
