Lukas Kopacki is currently serving as a Forest Carbon Analyst at Finite Carbon and as an Independent Study Mentor for the Geospatial Technology Certificate Program at the University of Vermont. Previously, Lukas held various data and research-focused roles, including Forest and Data Science Specialist at Wildlife Works, where expertise was applied in calculating carbon metrics for projects in multiple global regions. As a Geospatial Research Specialist at the University of Vermont Rubenstein School, Lukas contributed to climate exposure risk models aimed at habitat restoration in New England. Other roles include Resource Planning Analyst at Manulife Investment Management, IOT Sensing Systems Engineer at Arctic Information Technology, and multiple positions at the University of Vermont, supporting projects related to forest health monitoring and silviculture studies. Lukas holds a Bachelor's degree in Forestry with a concentration in Data Science from the University of Vermont.
