John Santiago Jr.

John Santiago Jr. has a long history of working in software engineering and development. John began their career in 2010 as a Flash Developer at Group DCA. In 2012, they took on two freelance roles as a Web Developer at Resource/Ammirati, an IBM Company and UP Design. In 2013, they moved to Command Alkon as a Senior Software Developer. In 2016, they changed roles again to become a Senior Software Developer at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company. Finally, in 2019, they joined Smart Cosmos as a Senior Software Engineer and in 2021, they moved to Finite State where they currently serve as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer.

John Santiago Jr. attended The Art Institute from 2001 to 2003, studying Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics and Special Effects. John also holds certifications from MongoDB University, including M001: MongoDB Basics, M121: The Mongo Aggregation Framework, M220P: MongoDB for Python Developers, and M101P: MongoDB for Developers, obtained in February 2020, February 2020, February 2020, and October 2013 respectively.
