Josh Meltzer

Josh Meltzer is Managing Director – Head of Intellectual Property Finance and is leading Finitive’s efforts to enable IP transactions by solving the IP market’s efficiency, risk management and capital access challenges. Prior to joining Finitive, Josh was Managing Director, US for London-based Woodsford Group Ltd., where he planned and launched their U.S. business. Previously, Josh launched and built the litigation funding business at Rembrandt IP Management, an IP-focused investment company. Josh also held strategy and licensing roles at Intellectual Ventures Management, a $6B family of IP-focused investment funds. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Foster Chamberlain, a business development boutique which works with large companies and research labs to commercialize new technologies and launch spin-off ventures. He also held multiple roles at General Electric and GE Capital spanning private equity, structured finance, investments and operations.
