Daniel Ruby

Daniel Ruby has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Daniel is currently working as a Commercial Counsel at Finix since April 2022. Prior to this, they had a significant tenure at Affirm, where they held various positions including Managing Counsel, Commercial from July 2021 to April 2022, Counsel, Commercial from April 2020 to July 2021, and Corporate Counsel from June 2018 to April 2020. Before joining Affirm, Daniel gained legal experience as an Associate in Finance at Reed Smith LLP from July 2014 to August 2017, and as an Associate in Litigation from January 2012 to November 2014. Daniel also served as an Extern for Justice Ming Chin at the Supreme Court of California from August 2010 to December 2010. Daniel began their legal career as a Clerk at Shartsis Friese LLP from February 2007 to June 2008.

Daniel Ruby obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Spanish (Minor) from UCLA, where they attended from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of San Francisco School of Law, completing their Doctor of Law (JD) degree from 2008 to 2011.
