Giorgio Semenzato

Giorgio Semenzato has a long and varied work experience. Giorgio began their career in 2012 as an Associate at Axon Partners Group, where they worked their way up to Senior Manager. In 2015, they became the CEO and co-founder of Finizens. In 2019, they became a Professor at IE Business School. In 2020, they took on several roles, including Visiting Professor at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, CUNEF, and University of Navarra, as well as Professor at IEB and EIT Digital. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed President of the Investment/Wealthtech Commission at Madrid Capital FinTech.

Giorgio Semenzato obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma between 2004 and 2007. Giorgio then obtained a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the same university between 2007 and 2010. In 2008 and 2009, they also completed an Erasmus program at Universidad de Granada.
