David E. Gross

David is an active volunteer at a local soup kitchen. The Rockland Soup Kitchen, Tomche Shabbos provides food packages for 500 families in need each week. For over 40 years volunteers like David have gathered to assemble large boxes of food for struggling families in the Rockland Community.

In addition to volunteering at the soup kitchen, David has also organized and participated in events that benefit other at-risk demographics. Recently, David hosted a group of students from Northeast Gateway to Freedom, a Newburgh non-profit dedicated to bettering the lives of Newburgh’s youth. David provided the students with a tour of the Newburgh office and arranged a presentation for the students which stressed the importance of education.
