Sohaib Faroukh

Sohaib Faroukh is a software engineer with experience in a variety of technologies. Sohaib currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Finlex GmbH since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ebtasm from 2021 to 2022, where they were responsible for planning, requirements elicitation, designing, and implementing software solutions for outsourcing clients. Sohaib worked on multi vendors e-commerce platform and application for all the services related to cars in UAE. Technologies used included Angular 11, Java Spring Boot, MySQL, Bootstrap, TyeScript, Java, JavaScript, HTML, SCSS, Git, Azure DevOps, BitBucket, and Jira. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at Socienta, where they worked on the Accounting, CRM, Tickets management, and Reporting modules in Socienta project as a Full Stack developer. Technologies used included Angular 8+, Node. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Syriatel Mobile Telecom, where they met with other departments teams in the company to agree on the project scope and functionalities, and wrote software documents. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Developer at APPA IT Solutions LTD from 2018 to 2019, where they were part of a team to develop a News platform. Technologies used included PHP (CodeIgniter), MySQL, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS.

Sohaib Faroukh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Damascus University between 2014 and 2020. In addition, they have obtained two certifications; Building Scalable Java Microservices with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud from Google in February 2021, and Angular 6 from Syriatel Mobile Telecom in April 2019.
