Yasmine Kordjazy

Yasmine Kordjazy has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Yasmine began their career in 2010 as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Western Ontario. In 2011, they joined Indigo as a Supervisor, Department Manager, Customer Experience Representative, and Salesperson. In 2013, they became an ESL Curriculum Developer at OnlineenilnO. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an ESL, TOEFL, and CELPIP Instructor at Queen's Collegiate and as an ESL Instructor, TESOL Trainer & Supervisor, and College Instructor at ILAC International College. In 2021, they attended Le Wagon, a coding bootcamp, where they designed, implemented, and shipped to production a clone of AirBnB (AirCar) and a Rails prototype of www.pfandme. Currently, they are a QA Automation Engineer and Software Engineer Trainee - Cloud Platform & SaaS at Finlex GmbH.

Yasmine Kordjazy has an extensive education history. Yasmine began their studies in 2006 at Bonyaad-e Neyshabur, where they took Pahlavi Language and Literature courses with Dr. Fereydoon Joneidi. In 2006, they also began their Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters at the University of Tehran, which they completed in 2010. In 2014, they obtained their TESL Canada certification. In 2010, they began their Master of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters at Western University, which they completed in 2012. In 2015, they took courses in Français langue seconde at Collège Boréal and completed them in 2016. In 2020, they began their Specialization in Python for Everybody at the University of Michigan. Yasmine also obtained certifications in Python Data Structures and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from the University of Michigan in 2020. Yasmine is currently enrolled in a Ruby on Rails Fullstack Web Development Coding Bootcamp at Le Wagon, a Responsive Web Design course at freeCodeCamp, a Web Development Bootcamp at The Odin Project, and an Android Basics Nanodegree by Google at Udacity. Additionally, they are taking a Course Certificate in Neurolinguistics at Saint Petersburg State University and an Introduction to Sociolinguistics: Accents, Attitudes and Identity at the University of York.
