Oscar Wahltinez is a Senior Developer Programs Engineer at Google since January 2016, focusing on leveraging data and AI for public health and social good, including current work on geospatial foundation models. Prior to this role, Oscar served as a Developer Advocate, leading multimedia and camera verticals and fostering partnerships with industry leaders. Concurrently, Oscar has been an Executive Board Member at FinMango since January 2017, promoting technological and educational empowerment for financial independence. Oscar's previous experience includes a Software Engineer II position at Microsoft, volunteer analyst roles at Seattle Aquarium and Institute for Systems Biology, and an internship as a Mainframe Developer at Westfield Group. Oscar holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Malone University.
